Everyone will be coming across some personalities in life who influences them a lot, a person who becomes your true teacher for life. Don’t you think so? Even mine wasn’t much different either. But for me my true guide is my mom. Yea, I can say proudly that she’s the best mom ever. We all might be having ups and downs some time or the other. Well, it could be considered as a never ending cycle. Some recover from the bad times easily, while others need a push from someone to come out of it.

My mom has been there to support me in every stage of my life. Well, a mother’s love and concern is way ahead of any other support in the universe. You will never feel insecure under her protective arms. The things I learnt from my mother can never be achieved from any of the universities I have been through. It is priceless.

At times I consider it as a living learning experience to live with my mama. The role this sweet lady takes up every day to manage different things is simply amazing. Being a sister, daughter, wife, mother the journey is simply amazing. My mom has always been very sincere with relationships, especially the bond with my dad. My dad never had any question of discrepancy with his partner. She’s always been a loving wife.

The hardship faced in bringing us up while handling both work and household matters were an open book of expedition. The way this lady managed everything with great precision and dedication is what makes her the best person whom I respect today. She used to tell us, we should always move on no matter what all hurdles you have to face in between.

I have been through many bad times in my life. But she’s always been there to support me in every stage. The strength and support given by her was immense. She was more or less a friend to me with whom I could share anything under sky. I was given full freedom to think independently, to dream high and my mom’s words motivated me to achieve all my goals.

I still remember the way my mom stood by me when I had a broken relationship. That was the time I started losing confidence in myself. She taught me to be bold and confident to face any tough situation. I would never have moved on so easily and become whatever I am today, without her help. The journey has been truly amazing. When you are prepared to face the varying tides in life, you will be in a position to handle even the bitter phases positively. That’s what her belief is and today I too think in the same way.

It was during the summers that I got a chance to visit the Dudley Zoo. My dad had promised that he would take me there during my vacation. I was super excited to see the animals over there. My friends had visited the zoo many times and have heard much about it. We had shifted to West Midlands recently only and hence were getting used to the new environment. I was not pretty sure whether dad would take me because most of the time he was busy with his business meets and conferences. But this time for my surprise it was he who initiated and planned everything well in advance.

Since I was an animal lover, I didn’t have words to express how happy I was. Dudley Zoo was a few kilometres away from where we were staying. We took almost an hour to reach there. The tickets were booked already, so we didn’t have to wait in the queue for the entry pass. There were red pandas, Asiatic lions, collared brown lemur, Pygmy marmoset, Orang-utan, Squirrel monkey, Reindeer, Snow Leopard and much more.

The most interesting part was the red pandas. They were quite active and played around with great enthusiasm. Some were resting in the shade and others were busy playing. Some were busy feeding too. It was really a great delight to watch them play, eat and just wander here and there in the open space encircled with huge fences. I wished to see baby pandas, buy may be next time.

Another important highlight of the zoo was the walkthrough for the lemurs. I wished to see them. I just walked down through the pathways. There were ring tailed cats and birds on either side curiously watching me how I walk. I was so excited and just gave my looks to them too. I was so excited to watch the lemurs taking food from the keeper. I have never seen animals so close ever in my life.

Then we directed to the bush dog. The settings were just perfect, so natural and beautiful. The bush dogs seem very active in the afternoon. They even made interesting sounds that were really interesting to hear. While we passed through different lanes I turned, back I saw an orang-utan furiously staring at me. May be he didn’t like my red cap. Anyways altogether we had great fun together in the zoo.

Now, I can also boast to my friends that I too visited the zoo, unleashing the fun part I had there. Really it was one of my best weekends ever.
