The Network was set up following discussions at the third International Brethren Conference on Mission (www.ibcm.net) held in Romania in 2003.
The Network Co-ordinators are Dr Ron Diprose, Academic Dean of the Italian Evangelical Bible Institute and Secretary of the European Evangelical Accrediting Association (rediprose@tiscali.it), and Paul Joshua, Director designate of the Mylapore Institute for Indigenous Studies, India (p.joshua@ntlworld.com).
The development of the Network was welcomed and encouraged at the first international consultation of leaders of Brethren training institutions held at Emmaus Bible College, Dubuque, Iowa in June 2005 (consultation notes).
